A thread started by matt_bohr and Eidam that took on a life of its own well-beyond their self-inflation concept to become just another spam thread.

1,000+ pages of talking about food and complaining about homework. Vaguely noteworthy due to its uncommon growth rate for a thread on TaBB, having accumulated 30,000+ posts and over 666 pages since starting in early July 2008. This could be credited to the premise of the thread itself and its subsequent catch-all, spamming, and emergent poster subgroups that formed.

It is the longest thread on TaBB, beating out Ask The Ladies by over a lot pages.

Originally the thread was for tabbers who wanted to participate in a self-imposed exile to the thread in a show of willpower and strength. Those wishing to complete the challenge were to post only within the 100 Posts Official Thread for the next 100 posts. matt_bohr promised to donate money to charity for each tabber who completed the challenge, but as usual cold-pussed. I don't think anyone really cares though? Whatever.

The following posters are considered "The Franklin Ghosts"—in other words, Honorary Franklin Mints—due to their dedication to the thread, even though they have not completed the 100 Post Challenge. Usually, they are the ones helping the Mints-to-be to get through the challenge by providing conversation. Thus, without them, the Mints would be nothing.

Dezro wrote a script to count who had posted in the thread how many times, because phpbb2 isn't very useful sometimes. It was used once in the 500s somewhere, then again here. After TaBB 1 finally died, Dezro add ran it one last time and posted the results here.
