Avatar exchanges are monthly themes wherein a number of people are paired off at random. Each person makes an avatar for the other person to use that month.

The avatar exchange idea is Eidam's baby. He organized the first one, in July 2006. Metaphoragizery organized the second, in October. The third was organized, SECRET-SANTA STYLE, by Unwinder, and took place in November 2007.
