Eidam and AndyClark
Melissa sat down by the harbor, eyes blind to the beauty of the waves rolling in, deaf to the waves crashing and wrapped up entirely in her tumultuous thoughts. What a hell of a day. As her head dropped to her hands, a lone duck floated up to the shore. Something about this duck made her smile and reach into her bag for her half-eaten lunch. She pulled a hunk of bread from her sandwich and scattered it for the duck. He waddled up near her feet, took a bite, and began to change shape.
“Eidam! What are you doing here?” She gasped, seeing a familiar face, only a little weary from his arduous journey.
“I thought you could use a friend.” And he wrapped his arms around her slender frame, the heat from his body radiating through her in waves, driving away her sadness. She melted into him, breathing deep and inhaling his delicious, bass toned cologne mixed with the scent of his sweat. Just what a man should smell like.
He held her for a long time, not groping, not impatient, and the only move he made was to place a warm kiss on her forehead. She looked into his eyes and was swept away by their beauty and warmth. Time stopped and bent until it was just the two of them, perfect in their understanding, living in a world of their own where words were unnecessary. He was her home, and she was his reason.
“Oh, Eidam, take me home.”
And so he walked beside her, never releasing her from his embrace, and they stumbled through her door and finally collapsed onto her bed. There the innocence of their encounter did not fade, but widened. His hands slid down her back, his warmth covered her buttocks, his kisses found her breasts, but the innocence remained. There could be no wrong when they were so right together. She let her troubles and cares feed her tender kisses, her stress fading as she bit his smooth skin. Their sweat mingled as they tossed over the bedspread, a love with such equality that both submitted and took the lead in turns. And in their pure joy they were made one, and he moved in her, and his seed was sown in her garden.
And as they both fell back, sated, Melissa turned away, saddened by their beautiful encounter. He was the only home she would ever know, the only perfection she would ever have, and she knew she could never have it again. “I’m so sorry. I never wanted anyone safe.”
