The Devil

In Christianity, the angel who rebelled against God and was cast into hell as punishment. The term could also refer to a generic devil (i.e., evil spirit). In this sense, the concept of "devil" is not limited to Christianity.

In Dinosaur Comics, he frequently has discussions with T-Rex about video games, to T-Rex's decided exasperation. His words apppear as ALL-CAPS text colored red, with speech lines coming off the bottom of the panel. These speech lines pose certain design constraints that make it difficult to fit the Devil's dialogue into all panels of the comic, so he will often only talk at the very beginning or very end of the strip.

The Devil was also one of the longest running and most widely recognized joke accounts on Truth and Beauty Bombs. As a joke account, he copied the style of the Devil in Dinosaur Comics, but talked about a wider range of topics than just video games. The identity of the Devil was the cause for much speculation. It was eventually revealed that Top Loading Dingo was responsible, and then the account was retired.
