Black currants are pretty good, but I don't know of any events with them.

Check farmer's markets. While not really an "event" in the sense you may be thinking, they probably at least have some.

You can find tea with black currants in a lot of places. It's good.

I think these exist. Not really too sure.

A bit spicy, but if you're brave they go good with beef in a stew.
